This interactive session will give participants an overview of the Connecting Innovation programme from Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership, as well as hosting an interactive Q&A with a panel of industry experts to discuss the innovation landscape for digital businesses across Leeds City Region.
The panel discussion session aims to open-up conversations with SMEs about what ‘innovation’ means, what is happening across LCR and how innovation in businesses is being supported, as well as discussing what role innovation will play in the economic recovery.

Inviting SMEs to join this interactive session to discuss the innovation landscape and support available to digital businesses across the Leeds City Region. With insight into Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership’s (LEP) programme, Connecting Innovation – an independent and specialist innovation support service, as well as how businesses can seek support and nurture innovative ideas in their workplace.
Ideas come through collaboration and the LEP’s Connecting Innovation programme connects SMEs with the right people, navigating businesses through the ecosystem of innovation resources available. Its team of Innovation Growth Managers are impartial brokers, coordinating specific needs of a business with the relevant external support.
The aim is to create an inclusive and collaborative environment for innovation to thrive in Leeds City Region, connecting productive and driven businesses with the right support to make future ideas, concepts or projects become a reality.
Connecting Innovation is delivered by the LEP in partnership with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund for England and the Local Growth Fund.
